The second training day started with physical training and a run around the Academic Oval. Then C2Lt Rodriguez gave a lecture on Military Courtesy and Discipline, as she explained the origins of the salute.

A first aid lesson followed. One group of cadets was taught by Vanguard Dr. Ong and his varied and experienced group of First Aid Instructors. The Monday cadets received a continuation of Vanguard Villamayor’s lecture on First Aid. They learned the ABCs (airway, breathing, and circulation), and the class got hands on with a lesson in bandaging and carries. By the end of the day, the cadets were prepared for any emergency!

After all of that, there was the COCC Graduation, where CP2Lts Macrohon and Calibara finally officially became cadet officers. A number of last year’s cadets showed up to help celebrate in this.
