The 5th training day of the ROTC, held last July 13 at the DMST Complex, focused on lectures on Emergency Rescue and Transfer (ERT), and on Gender Sensitivity.

The classroom lecture on ERT was given to each unit. The cadets were taught the basics and methods on emergency rescue and emergency transfer, and were made to perform and apply what they had learned.

Fresh graduates of the ROTC also observed and assisted in the classroom lectures.

Afterwards, all the units assembled at the Vanguard rooftop for the common lecture on “Gender Sensitivity” given by CMaj Fatima dela Cruz, 1Cl. The cadets were very responsive and reacted positively to the lecture. At the end of the lecture, the cadets performed their gender advocacies in groups of ten.
