The UP Corps of Cadets and the UP Vanguard Incorporated-University Chapter led the 150th Bonifacio Day celebration through Flag Raising and Wreath Laying ceremonies and Parade and Review at the General Antonio Luna Parade Grounds (Sunken Garden) and Katipunan monument in front of Vinzons Hall last 30 November 2013.
Military dignitaries and Kampo Uno CWTS students joined this year’s celebration. The Armed Forces of the Philippines Special Operations Command’s Special Forces Regiment (Airborne) and Scout Ranger Regiment soldiers in their camouflage uniforms performed a demonstration that added excitement to the program. The Wreath Laying Ceremony was made more special through the 21 gun salute offered by the Firing detail soldiers. Compared to previous parade and review conducted by the UP Corps of Cadets, the Guest of Honor and Speaker and other important guests rode on four military white carabao chariots during trooping the line while being escorted by the Corps Commander and staff.
