UP ROTC cadets and cadet officers contributed in the ISKOOPERATION, led and organized by the UPD-USC, last 11 August 2012. They did their part by packing relief goods, loading of items, and distribution to select areas. The relief operation aimed to help a number of victims of the terrifying southwest monsoon that affected such areas in Metropolitan Manila, especially Quezon City. With the support of the 51st Engineering Brigade, Philippine Army, two teams of cadets were deployed to a barangay in Valenzuela and Quezon City.
In line with the broad advocacy of the organization, the cadets helped for the cause despite the tiresome half-day, categorized as unofficial training day. The UP CHK Gym served as the center of the activity of the cadets.
