The UP Corps of Cadets conducted the Presentation of Sponsors last 08 December 2012 at the UP Diliman Vanguard Memorial. Professor Ma. Corazon J. Tan, Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs UP Diliman, led the ceremony as Guest of Honor and Speaker. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of young students taking part in community service as volunteers, as well as the all-important role of women in nation building. She also recognized the legacy and glory of the Corps of Sponsors, as well as the Corps of Cadets.

The Presentation of Sponsors marked the first ceremonial parade of the Corps of Cadets this semester. The Corps of Sponsors ensures that a healthy and professional relationship between cadets and cadet officers is maintained. They play a crucial role in safeguarding the morale of the cadets. They also provide much-needed support during the training days of the Corps.

The Rayadillo, Ranger, and Rescue Units of the Corps of Cadets with the UP ROTC Symphonic Band rendered the parade. The unit Rayadillo rendered foyer honors to the Guest of Honor and Speaker, Professor Tan as she was welcomed by Major Ronaldo C. Mateo, the Assistant Commandant of the UP Diliman ROTC.

Awaiting the new batch of the Corps of Sponsors was the Battalion in formation.  It was composed of the Rayadillo and Ranger Units for A Company, and the Rescue Unit for the B Company. The UP ROTC Symphonic Band made the ceremony more amazing.

Corps Sponsor 2012, Ms. Cristina B Orante, escorted by the Corps Commander 2012, Vanguard Ryan Kristofer I. Arana, passed on the Corps of Sponsors flag to the new Corps Sponsor 2013, Ms. Celeste B. Atas.  This symbolized the turning over of the responsibilities and duties of Ms. Orante to Ms. Atas as the former was relieved of her duties as Corps Sponsor.

Highlights of the ceremony include the pining ceremony of the members of the Corps of Sponsor by their counterpart Cadet Officers; the presentation of the Sponsors to their respective units: trooping the line by the Guest of Honor and Speaker, the Assistant Commandant, the Corps Commander and the Corps Sponsor.
